Inside meets outside

The building is elevated more than a meter above ground level, which makes it an open, light and transparent pavilion in an oasis of green. The walls are largely made of glass and enable a strong interaction with the surroundings.

A broad canopy serves as sun protection for the inside and a partial awning for the outside. The building structure consists for a major part of two beech wood parts with a flexible lay-out, which are connected by means of passageways and footbridges. In between is a stepped atrium along which steps the water flows downwards. At the top, the atrium ends as an outdoor terrace with a sedum roof covering. The parking spaces are located in the green area so that every morning employees can take a little walk through the scenery to the building.
