Sports hall, Venlo

The sports hall was commissioned by the municipality of Venlo. C2C is high on the agenda of the municipality of Venlo. The predefined ambitions were realized in consultation with the C2C lab located in Venlo.

Think of application C2C certified materials, construction method, sustainable installation and healthy air quality. Attention has been paid to the visibility of the C2C appearance of the building. Think of the Accoya cladding, click-brick masonry, green sedum roof, solar panels (electricity generation is more than consumption) and greenery in the facade.

The sports hall is built with full timber-frame walls according to a demountable system and finish. The entire building has been described in a specification for demolition in the distant future, many of the products can be reused and no longer become part of the waste chain.
