The curtain reflects just how much the swimming pool is linked with water. When it rains, it shows how rainwater becomes swimming pool water. When the sun shines, the curtain sparkles like a solidified waterfall. When it is winter, frozen crystals in the curtain magically turn the building into an ice palace. Inside, intimate spaces and high areas alternate with skylights. The wooden rhomboid roof construction and the finishing of the floor, walls and ceiling with traditional materials enhance the warm ambiance.

The pool is also sustainable. The swimming halls with high temperatures are enclosed by the other spaces which function as a warm blanket. Such a climate buffer is only lacking on the south side. Here, the sun does the warming up while the visitors enjoy the view over the surrounding park.
