Motel One

The characteristic Cube made for Motel 1 responds to the iconic collection of the RAI Exhibition Center. The big white ribs around the hotel volume are distinctive to make a difference to the transparent commercial base of the building. De debt of the ribs together with the white frames around each hotel window try to create a crystal image, that is supported by two different prints on the vision glass. These items together make the appropriate shadows to give the cube its crucial quality. The inside courtyard is the atrium in the cube, the outside courtyard protected with glass from the major road is just as quiet as the inner one: This a major hospitality feature.
