Markethall Rotterdam

In the middle of the market stalls and restaurants, escalators lead to an underground world with a parking garage, loading and unloading area for the market vendors, and a mini museum with archaeological finds. On the inside, the houses have a view of the livelihood at the market and on the outside of the old city center.

MVRDV has designed a spectacular space here, with an enormous appeal and a strong attractiveness for the city and far beyond it. In the first three months, the Market Hall received no less than three million visitors.
